Dr. Ronald Deiter
Dr. Deiter has been an essential part of the Iowa State University Agricultural Business Club. Since his arrival on the ISU campus, Dr. Deiter has been advising the club on important matters. Dr. Deiter's list of accomplishments includes winning various Outstanding Adivsor Awards (1993, 1996, 2001) along with the Advisor Recognition Award in 2001 from the Dean of Students here at Iowa State. Dr. Deiter has helped advise the club to a top three finish or better in national competition numerous years.

Dr. Georgeanne Artz
Dr. Georgeanne Artz is an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at ISU. Dr. Artz earned her Ph.D. in agricultural economics from ISU in 2005. She holds a B.A. in economics from Yale University and a M.S. in resource economics and policy from the University of Maine at Orono. From 2005 to 2011 she was on faculty at the University of Missouri as an assistant professor in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics with a joint appointment in the Truman School for Public Affairs. She previously worked as an extension program specialist at ISU, researching and providing outreach programming on retail trade analysis, community economic development, agribusiness management, and cooperatives. She was awarded a New Professional Award for her work with ISU Extension in 2001. Dr. Artz’s research interests include rural economic development, rural labor markets, value added agriculture, agribusiness and cooperatives management, and entrepreneurship.

 Ms. Amy Brandau

Ms. Amy Brandau is an Academic Advisor in the Economics Department at ISU.  Before Amy joined our department she was an Academic Advisor in the College of Engineering. Ms. Brandau earned her MBA from ISU in 2008 and a B.S. in Agricultural Business from ISU in 2000.
